ONE of the coolest blues-rock acts in the land is coming to Catherine Hill Bay Hotel.
The Steve Edmonds Band will play an all-ages gig at The Catho Pub next Sunday afternoon, April 1, from 2.30pm.
For many years, Edmonds has played guitar for recording artists such as Jimmy Barnes, Renee Geyer, Doug Parkinson, Billy Thorpe, Delta Goodrem, Margaret Urlich, Chain, Hippo's, Matt Finish and Shannon Noll, to name a few.
The Steve Edmonds band create a great party vibe playing a hit list of classic 70s blues-drenched guitar anthems.
Edmonds calls it the "all killer, no filler" attitude.
His standing as one of the nation's top guitarists is reflected in his annual appearance in the Experience Hendrix Tribute gigs at Enmore Theatre.
In January, 2010, the band released its Home Made CD, which followed the 2002 release Medium Cool.
The April 1 gig is free.
