MORISSET Strikers will employ tactics straight out of the Pythagorean play book when they take on Belmont Tingira at Baxter Field this Sunday.
Club spokesman Paul Smith said the Strikers were expecting a physical challenge from Belmont, and that "working our triangles" would be a key counter measure.
"Our players have been educated about the importance this week of beating their man with speed and passing," Smith said.
Morisset's experienced players, in particular, needed to stay disciplined with the ball, sticking to their triangle formations, to nullify energetic challenges from Belmont, he said.
The Strikers are coming off a 10-1 thumping of Raymond Terrace at the weekend.
This Sunday's game at Baxter Field, Marks Point, kicks off at 3pm.
