Fashion and bubbly on Kooindah fairway

02 Sep, 2010 01:00 AM
WOMEN golfers will be given the run of the Kooindah Waters golf course on Monday for the annual Kooindah Fashion Classic, at Wyong.

The open event combines golf and fashion in a light-hearted day of 18 holes of game play, refreshments, canapes, a fashion parade and wine tasting.

Kooindah Waters general manager Brendan Currie said the event had become a favourite with the region's women golfers.

"The Ladies Fashion Classic is all about celebrating women in golf, and giving the ladies a complete run of the course," Mr Currie said.

"With a full fashion parade, refreshments and pre-competition golf clinic, any lady that is keen on golf must come and take part."

A two-person ambrose golf competition featuring a shotgun start at 9.15am will follow a golf clinic at 8.15am.

The presentation and fashion parade with wine tasting will follow the golf.

The cost is $40 for members, and $85 for guests.

Book on 4351 0700.
