Susan was in the Australian under-21 team from 2003 to 2005, and has been in the Australian team from 2006 to 2011.

She was a member of Australia's World Championship-winning team in 2007, and in the silver medal-winning teams at the Commonwealth Games in 2006 and 2010, in Melbourne and India, respectively.

Susan will speak at assemblies and run coaching clinics as part of the Premier's Sporting Challenge.

The Challenge was launched in 2007 to promote the benefits of physical activity among young people, and this year more than 195,000 students from more than a thousand schools have taken part.
