THE Central Coast extended its winning record over arch rivals Newcastle with a 2-nil win in their A-League soccer clash at Gosford on Saturday night.
Such was the Central Coast's domination that it took Newcastle 41 minutes to earn their first corner of the match.
The win saw the Mariners join Brisbane Roar in a share of the competition lead.
The co-leaders will clash this Saturday at Suncorp Stadium.
