THE bus services for the Morisset, Morisset Park and Bonnells Bay areas are not reliable enough.
Many times when travelling to Morisset train station, I miss my train or have to race like crazy to get the connecting train.
Why not run the buses earlier or to a better running time to meet with the trains travelling in both directions - to Newcastle and Sydney?
Also, in my area there are two bus shelters that don't have any timetables.
How are local people or travellers meant to know when a bus comes?
On the timetables, the bus stop name should be highlighted and the final destination as well.
This will make it so much easier and efficient for travellers of all ages to get to their destination.
Next to the timetables there could be a sign saying the name of the next stop.
There aren't enough regular services. That should be changed to running every 30 minutes all day until, say, 7pm Monday to Friday.
And then have two buses on the hour until 9pm.
To save fuel and other running costs, why not use smaller buses if they are the right option to use in service?
Three times now I have suggested to the station staff at Morisset that they highlight all services on the train timetable.
I often get elderly people or sometimes kids ask me about a train time for them.
This is also due to the height at which these timetables have been put up on the wall.
Around the Sydney suburban train stations, there are screens which show the arrival time of the next train and its destination, plus the second train.
Why not have these at Morisset station as well?
