WE'VE heard enough!
The "Bali Boy" is a 14-year-old child. He did something silly.
Challenging behaviour is what can be expected around that age.
The consequences of his silly act have been horrendous for the child, his parents, extended family, friends and neighbours.
The emotional and psychological toll would be immeasurable. He would have been terrified in Indonesia. He finally returns home only to find that his family home is no longer the safe haven it was.
The media continually speculates about "media deals". It seems that any "media deal" is an urban legend created and perpetuated by the media.
The family simply needs some semblance of their former life back. Enough. There is no need to persecute these people any more.
Let them get on with their lives.
One question needs answering, though - is the act of stalking a 14-year-old child a form of child abuse?
