DC's celebration solid gold

27 Nov, 2008 01:00 AM
IT WAS a double whammy to celebrate 50 years of Dora Creek Workers Club with a lavish invitation-only dinner on Friday followed on Saturday night by a one-off performance of Harry Young and his band Sabbath.

Young and Sabbath parted company 30 years ago on the brink of stardom, but on Saturday it was business as usual for all five original members.

"I can't tell you what fun it was to perform with the boys after all this time; it's just, well, fantastic," Young told Live.
