IT was shaping up to be a wash out, but at the last minute Mother Nature smiled on the 58th Annual Morisset-Lake Macquarie District Agricultural Show.
The event attracted large crowds over the sunny weekend and was the best attended show in many years.
The show jumping was cancelled after the week of rain, but there were lots of other agricultural events to please showgoers.
Amusement rides, live music and animal shows were also popular.
