FOR many people home alone on Christmas Day, a traditional lunch in the festive company of family and friends is just something they see on television.
Morisset's Southlake Neighbourhood Centre has this year organised a mighty 'Home Alone' Christmas lunch at Morisset Multipurpose Centre.
Sponsored by community groups,, a traditional lunch for up to 120 people will be provided on Christmas Day.
"This is for people who sadly would otherwise have a miserable time by themselves so we are all making a big effort to lay on not just a great spread but a great afternoon. We'll even provide a community bus to people who need transport," Southlake Community Services co-ordinator, Sheena Harvey said.
