Morisset meeting

04 Mar, 2010 01:00 AM
FREE childcare will help Morisset residents to meet on Tuesday to plan ways to make Morisset an even better place to live.

Southlakes Neighbourhood Centre is working with the support of Lake Macquarie City Council to make Morisset a cleaner, greener, and friendlier place.

Neighbourhood Centre Coordinator, Sheena Harvey, said the workshop will begin a community planning process and foster a Morisset Sustainable Neighbourhood group.

"We want residents' input about what makes Morisset special, and how we can use our assets to create positive change in our neighbourhood," she said.

"The workshop will be a great opportunity to meet your neighbours, bring some fresh ideas to a community forum, and hear others' ideas."

The workshop is from 6pm to 8.30 pm at the Morisset Country Club. Bookings are essential to 4921 0108 by Friday.
