Macca visits Toronto

16 Dec, 2010 12:00 AM
IAN 'Macca" McNamarra didn't bring his icon ABC country radio show Australia All Over but he did bring himself to Toronto on Thursday.

The guitar-playing chat show host of the ABC's biggest audience radio show was in town to sign copies of his newly launched book, Say G'Day.

"I take this guitar with me everywhere because it keeps me in touch. The media is so full of dismal stories from things like the ICAC that we get used to them and don't take any notice any more, I don't. I like stories about people doing Australian things," Macca told people crammed into the ABC Centre in the NewsXpress in The Boulevarde.

Macca's 600-page book is available from the ABC Centre and costs $40.
