Fair and art flair across the shire

25 Mar, 2010 12:00 AM
A ROCK climbing wall was a big hit with kids at Warnervale on Saturday, while golfers met some unusual characters on the green at Kooindah Waters Golf and Spa Resort, at Wyong.

The Warnervale and Districts Annual Fair, at Warnervale Athletics Field, welcomed an estimated 4500 visitors.

"All of the feedback suggests that this was our best fair to date," Gaye Hardesty, the fair's publicity and promotions co-ordinator, said.

Meanwhile, the Sculptures by the Green exhibition continues to turn heads at Kooindah Waters. The exhibition winds up this Sunday.
