POLICE arrested and charged a man with a number of drug offences following the execution of a search warrant at a property in Lake Munmorah.
About 2.20pm on Wednesday (February 8), police attached to the Tuggerah Lakes Drug and Anti-Theft Unit executed a search warrant at a home on Wallaby Road.
Once inside, police allegedly located a large amount of cannabis and a taser.
The cannabis, with an estimated street value of more than $600,000, and the taser were seized by police.
A 47-year-old man, an occupant of the home, was arrested and taken to Wyong Police Station where he was charged with:
- cultivate and possess prohibited pant – commercial quantity;
- supply / possess prohibited drug; and
- possess prohibited weapon.
He was refused bail.
