Wiggles coming to the Coast

09 Feb, 2012 12:00 AM
THE original yellow Wiggle Greg Page is back in the band and heading to the Central Coast.

To celebrate Page's return, The Wiggles are hitting the road for a hits-loaded show in theatres and venues around much of the country.

Included in the tour are four performances at Mingara Recreation Club, at Tumbi Umbi, on May 2 and 3.

Tickets officially go on sale on Tuesday and are expected to sell out fast. (Presale tickets are available from today to members of the Wiggles website.)

Having played in arenas and larger venues around the world, including their recent Big Tent tour, the Wiggles have moved this show into theatres and smaller venues to get up close and intimate with their Wiggly fans.

After being away from the group for five years due to illness Greg says he is returning to the role he knows best.

"This tour will be an extraordinary moment for my history with the group," he said.

"I'm excited to be back with my friends and to be entertaining our incredible fans again."
