I live at rathmines and work in morisset and i will go out of my way not to fill up at morisset! If i need fuel before i drive home from work i will go to toronto to fill up and most of the time it is 10-15 cents cheaper than morisset and sometimes 20 cents. My sister is a uni student at Ourimbah and the only time she fills up is there as she says its 20 cents cheaper most of the time. As i live at rathmines i do try to fill up at the reopened fuel station (in support of locally opperated business's) and even as a local fuel station they are cheaper than morisset. What gives morisset fuel stations the right to charge so much more than anywhere else? Isn't there a fuel watch dog to stop this from happening?

I drive to ourimbah every week to go to university, i live in eraring and everyday i go past the petrol stations in morisset. i have learned never to fill up in morisset anymore and always make sure i have just enough petrol to make it to the petrols station either on the high way or the shell at ourimbah. i have noticed in morisset the petrol will be about 152.9 on a good day in ourimbah its around 135.9 to 139.9, even the starmart caltex on the highway is around 139.9 im really disappointed in the morissey fuel stations and wish i could just tell everybody not to fill there. its costing a fortune and its not fair!

3 weeks ago on a cheap tuesday, unleaded was 12c/ltr more expensive in morisset than toronto and wyee, with the rest of the week consistantly dearer, i feel they are ripping off their own local clientel, frankly, i don't really care what they charge any more, they have lost my buisiness.

I will avoid Morisset Caltex like the plague. It always seems to be 7-8 cents per litre dearer than any other service station in the area. This has been the case for as long as I can remember. It is blatantly ripping off motorists with it's over-pricing. I'm pretty sure that they gave a guarantee of the cheapest fuel in the area when they opened. If ever there was an opportunity for service stations to be held accountable for their pricing, then this is it. My advice to all motorists in the area: Stay away from the Caltex at Morisset. Give the greedy mongrels nothing. If you are travelling south wait until the Twin Servo's on the F3.

We noticed the prices contacted the Federal Minister's Office told us to contact the Fair Traders. We bought fuel 15 cents cheaper at Wyee. United -Morisset United dearer Shell subsidised by Coles dearer still after 4 cent reductions.

I never buy fuel or gas in Morisset or surrounds as we are being ripped off. I travel to Kariong for work and buy my gas and fuel at Shell Kariong. This week, it was 14 cents per litre cheaper for gas and 19 cents per litre cheaper for fuel. Morisset and surrounds service stations are charging exhorbitant and unfair prices.

I think the best way to beat this monopoly (collusion ie- if you don't drop your prices we wont drop ours and the silly motorists can pay for it ) is to include the prices in the Lakes Mail of the surrounding areas such as Wyee,Lakehaven,Wyong,Tuggerah,Toronto & Glendale. These first four mentioned I know for a fact are at least 7cents/lt cheaper than any in Morisset and last week after the 4cents/lt discount was allowed for the difference was 14cents/lt for unleaded . Therefore 50 lts @ 14 cents/lt =$7.00 difference, I have more to do with $7.00/week than to donate it to our local servos, for instance give it to the Salvo's that's $364.00/year I don't know if this great little paper is delivered to Wyee but I bet they'd like it just like we do(it's the best local paper delivered in this area by far )and there may be more advertising prospects there , please at least include the United at Wyee in your priceing details and I'm sure this would "help keep the b's honest"

Sunday 17/8/08 comparison between Toronto and Morisset. Gas at the B.P. Toronto with a 2 cent discount 59.9 Morisset 76.9. Petrol $1.53 Morisset, Toronto $1.40. Not bad for Toronto as I still get it cheaper on the Central Coast.
